This course follows the awareness-level hazardous materials training path. Chapters 1 through 4 are the core certification spine: overview, regulations, recognizing hazards, and awareness-level actions.
Chapters 5 through 12 preview operations-level topics for context. Chapters 13 and 14 cover terrorist or criminal incidents and incident termination language.
Study items also draw on authoritative web references (OSHA, PHMSA ERG, EPA, NIOSH) with citations on each drill. Compare against your academy addendum when your instructor gives local requirements.
